But will a refill give me the same quality as I now get?
Yes! Moreover, Action Inkjet & Toner guarantees each cartridge we
sell. We also promise that you will get equal or better print
quality than the product of the original equipment of the
manufacturer (OEM). You will also get an equal or better page yield.
That's quality at a lower cost.
How much money will I save?
On average, refilling will save you 20% to 50%
off the price of a new OEM cartridge.
What
about the ink that you put in the cartridges?
We only use the highest quality inks, designed specifically for each
cartridge. Moreover, with our process, we extract the old ink and
completely refill the cartridge with all the same ink. That prevents
color contamination and gives you a true color.
How many times
can I refill my cartridge?
There is no fixed answer. It depends on the
cartridge.
Can I refill my own
cartridge?
Yes, you can. However, a
lot of people don't like to do it themselves because it sometimes
gets a little messy. But read on….
So why should I buy a cartridge from Action Inkjet & Toner?
There are many advantages to buying a cartridge from us: Our
remanufactured cartridges have been inspected; the old ink has been
removed and then the cartridge is carefully refilled under pressure.
Our process ensures that you get a complete fill! It also means you
get no air bubbles in your ink-jets– bubbles can decrease your page
yield. Also, we only sell toner cartridges that have been
ultrasonically welded shut, not closed with a clip. We will provide
you with better service, too!
How does remanufacturing
work?
Our manufacturers
painstakingly disassemble, clean, and inspect the cartridges. The
toner cartridges are carefully opened with a laser (not a rotor
saw). Next, they add any necessary replacement parts to each
cartridge. Then they add high-quality toner powder or ink. Toners
are ultrasonically welded (not clipped) shut. Finally, they test
each cartridge and package it for distribution.
How does
remanufacturing help the environment?
Every year, more than 695 million plastic
printer cartridges are dumped in landfills in America and around the
world. While we can never completely stop the cycle of cartridges
entering the waste stream, we can at least stem the flow. That's why
remanufacturing matters. Every
remanufactured cartridge that you buy means one fewer going directly
to the landfill. For every
remanufactured cartridge you purchase, it's one less new cartridge
that needs to be produced. How much oil is actually used in the production of cartridges? Cartridges are mostly made of plastic and plastic is made from petroleum (oil) products. The plastic in each toner cartridge takes 3.5 quarts of oil to fabricate. A new ink-jet cartridge requires 2.5 ounces of oil. In 2002, there were 29.7 million toner cartridges reclaimed; for ink-jets, that number was 136.5 million. So if you do the math (which we did), 28.6 million gallons of oil were saved. More recycling/remanufacturing can save even more oil. We can recycle your cartridges whether you buy from us or not! By recycling your cartridge, you help reduce our
country's dependency on foreign oil!
Will I get the same number of printed pages from a remanufactured
toner cartridge as a new cartridge?
We guarantee you will get at least the same number of printed
pages from our remanufactured cartridges as you will get from a new
cartridge. Some customers even report many more pages of print per
cartridge over their old cartridges – with darker, richer blacks,
too. (The OEM's aren't always filled to capacity!)
How do I know if my laser printer uses a cartridge
that can be remanufactured?
Most can! That's because 80% of the laser
printers on the market today use a Canon-based engine. Canon holds
the patent on the engine and print technology. They manufacture the
engine and cartridge, and sell them to another company (such as
Hewlett Packard or Apple). These companies in turn put their name
and label on it. Basically, the toner cartridges all use the same
engines and frame.
Who uses remanufactured
cartridges? More than 3
million companies around the world already rely on these quality
products for their printing needs. You can, too! Remanufactured
cartridges contain high quality components, and give excellent
printing results. That's why you can trust the quality and
reliability of remanufactured cartridges for your day-to-day
printing needs as well as for your most important projects. |
